Cresswind Women’s Club is Makin’ it Rain

For the first time, the Cresswind Women’s Club of Westlake presented TWO academic scholarships to seniors at Seminole Ridge Community High School this past May 16th.

Grace (below, far right) is intending to pursue Speech and Language Pathology at the University of South Florida.

The Cresswind Women’s Club was formed with the intention of supporting the local community and they hope to include a scholarship award program in their annual budget.

If you have a rising senior at Seminole Ridge Community High School, make sure to look out for 2025 scholarship details coming February 1st. It happens fast, as a decision will be made by the Club’s scholarship committee by April 15th.

Applicants should plan to go to a Florida college, university or trade school with the intention of majoring in an area that directly benefits the citizens and/or the State of Florida, such as: environmental sciences, teaching, political science, medical services, firefighting, law enforcement or any trade.
