Westlake Palms is the building snuggled into that 1.3 acre site behind Orangetheory Fitness and next to Tractor Supply Co. Its construction is moving along very nicely!
The Real Deal is reporting that four tenants have signed on. These four tenants take up 7,500 SF of the building’s total 10,400 SF. That leaves 2,900 SF, so stay tuned for one or, maybe, two more tenant announcements.
I keep saying we need more daycares. We also need an aesthetic/cosmetic spa. For a friend.
Here we go!
1) ELLA CAFE (1,700 SF) – we’ve known this one was coming since March! Are we full up with coffee shops yet? I think not.
2) JUNIOR’S BARBER SHOP (1,700 SF) – we have enough heads needing fades and faces needing shaves to support another barber shop in addition to Latch Life. Right?! No excuses now, gentlemen.
3) WESTLAKE EYECARE (1,500 SF) – Can’t wait to learn more about this one! I’ve been driving 2-3 times/year to my eye docs all the way south of Wellington. It’s a LONG drive. This commute will be much, much nicer.
4) GULFSTREAM GOODWILL (2,600 SF) – (UPDATE 4/28/2026: This is a donations drop-off center. Not a store.) I don’t *think* this is a Goodwill store. Although I would not be mad at that because I like to donate and I love a good thrift! I *think* it’s a Goodwill office. I’ll try to find out more soon. Either way, hopefully this gives us new volunteering opportunities.
