Just months after Westlake hired its first Housing Assistance Program Manager Taylor Garcia, the HAPPY Program has been recognized as a “Housing Hero” by the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County!
What’s the HAPPY Program you ask? Well it’s Westlake’s Housing Assistance Purchasing Program! Learn all about it HERE and HERE!
Next Wednesday the PBC Housing Leadership Council will recognize Westlake’s HAPPY Program along with the other 2026 Housing Heroes finalists at the Kravis Center: “These awards recognize outstanding leaders and organizations making a meaningful impact in advancing affordable and workforce housing in our region. Finalists were selected for their innovation, collaboration, and commitment to expanding housing opportunities for residents across a range of needs. Together they represent the strength and dedication driving progress in our community.”
In 2025, 55 HAPPY awards were granted. This year, to date, Westlake has already awarded 35! These are all families getting into their Westlake homes. Excellent stuff!
