A new initiative by the Westlake Community Foundation (a non-profit organization) can help net you up to $15,000 toward a down payment or closing costs on your new construction home! This new Westlake Affordable Housing Grant Program is providing a total of $650,000 in financial assistance to qualified home buyers.

This program is new and different from the Westlake HAPPY Program. Some buyers could actually layer perks from both programs for an amazing leg up on paying for their new home.

To qualify for the Westlake Affordable Housing Grant Program, applicants must:

have an annual household income of $250,000 or less,
purchase a newly built home in Westlake, and
intend to occupy the home as their primary residence for at least five years.

“Westlake already offers the best value for new home construction in Palm Beach County,” said John Carter, Senior Vice President of Minto Communities USA. “Still, we recognize that some buyers need additional support to make the dream of homeownership possible. Through grant programs like this, we’re helping more families purchase a home in Westlake and become part of our growing community.”

Applications for the Westlake Affordable Housing Grant Program will be available (till funds run out) at the Westlake Sales Center, located at 16610 Town Center Parkway North, off Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.
