1) SID BUDGET WORKSHOP – is Monday July 20th, at the ungodly hour of 9-11AM at 4001 SPW. Without any actual Westlake residents on the SID Board, it’s important that some of us are taking at least a passing glance at this budget. Remember that SID can increase our assessment’s year over year without any cap.
2) SID’S NEW DIGS – might be ready for move-in by the end of July. SID’s new building is the lone structure west of HEW Fitness and Tractor Supply Co.
3) RE-STRIPING OF THE “MYSTERY” PERSIMMON LANE – There appears to be some confusion about how the re-striping of this lane on Persimmon Blvd headed east over SPW can happen. The main issue being whether or not SID needs to get the OK from the City given that this re-striping is merely a refresh of road markings and no traffic changes are being made. But SID Manager Lynne Ladner is looking into it. In the meantime, it’s not a lane! (Seinfeld voice, again!)
4) SANDGLASS BY MINTO – it looks like we have the name and location-ish of Minto’s new residential community, the first on the west side of Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd: Sandglass. No word on the type of housing yet. Stay tuned!
SID’s July Regular Meeting is scheduled for Monday July 6th.
