Status: UNSOLVED
Thrice I have witnessed a crime at Westlake’s Seminole Pratt Whitney (SPW) and Town Center Parkway South (TCPS) intersection, the intersection connecting Fire Station 22, Carmela Coffee and Xcel Padel in the east-to-west direction. A crime truly stranger than fiction.
This third time, I was ready so I was able to document the evidence as seen below. A driver on TCPS, heading east for a left turn onto SPW north was in the far left lane, heading opposite the legal right of way. In this third case, a car legally turning right from SPW onto TCPS had no where to go.
Who, WHY… Could this have been the same driver all three times? Is anyone brave enough to confess they’ve made this mistake and explain why?
For reference here is what the intersection’s markings look like heading in the same direction as the perpetrator in both daytime and at night.
